Barry
Barry is our Construction and Building Director. He is the co-founder of Candid Construction Scotland and has 22 years’ experience in the construction industry. 1st fix joinery is his speciality particularly building homes and extensions. Although Barry mostly project manages build projects, he is still very much ‘hands on’ when it comes to the labouring aspect of projects and you will see him in his workman’s PPE clothing most of the time.
Barry has a highly creative mind and so he continuously seeks out solutions to any obstacles that pop up in the industry to deliver a standard of excellence in all his projects. He is personable, professional, and passionate about delivering high standards in all building projects. He works closely with building suppliers and other professionals such as architects and structural engineers reading from their drawings and conferring with all parties involved throughout our detailed 8-step building process.
Barry is very much a devoted family man and you will often see him out and about with his family and trusty cocker-spaniel, Molly.
Fun fact about Barry – Barry is an amateur musician and can play the cornet and guitar.
